{"id":936,"date":"2025-06-28T08:05:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-28T06:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orceplusz.com\/?p=936"},"modified":"2025-07-07T08:06:27","modified_gmt":"2025-07-07T06:06:27","slug":"la-ugr-comienza-en-orce-una-nueva-campana-arqueologica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orceplusz.com\/en\/en-medios\/la-ugr-comienza-en-orce-una-nueva-campana-arqueologica\/","title":{"rendered":"The UGR begins a new archaeological campaign in Orce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The work will cover, among other areas, the southern sector of the Barranco Le\u00f3n site, an area particularly rich in fauna and carved lithic industry, and Venta Micena 4, the site with the highest concentration of extinct animals in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Archaeological activities return to Orce during the month of July thanks to a team from the University of Granada led by Juan Manuel Jim\u00e9nez Arenas, lecturer in the Department of Prehistory and Archaeology.
